Raise the temperature of the Himalayan Salt Cooking Block with your grill or oven, in other words, put it on a cold grill or oven. Slowly raise the temperature up to 450 degrees and enjoy cooking your steaks, shrimp, chicken, or your favorite veggies to get that extra special salt flavor.
Once you are done cooking, let the Himalayan Salt Cooking Block cool down to the touch, wipe any food residue from the block. Since Salt is 100% anti bacterial, it really doesn't have to be cleaned, however for aesthetic reasons, you can wipe the block with a damp lemon juice cloth. Once dry, cling wrap the Himalayan Salt Cooking Block and store it away in your kitchen cabinet to use another day!
Extremely important, don't wash or put the Himalayan Salt Cooking block in the dishwasher, because it is made out of 100% Himalayan Salt it will dissolve.
